Many love to cook but not all cook right. Over the last several years, I’ve learned that the best food is clean food and real food (no or little processed foods in this house!). In addition to working out regularly and bike commuting, developing and practicing healthier cooking habits have helped me to become a much happier and healthier person!
(And, I look good naked again)
People have asked how I find the time to cook so much as a business owner. My answer is that I make the time. We spend all of our lives rushing around and I have found, especially during this Recession, that chopping, mixing and cooking is a major stress reliever. And I feel better when I know I’m eating nutritious foods.
This blog was born in December, 2008, when I was bedridden for two weeks recovering from a surgery. Thanks to a laptop and wireless connection, I finally started this blog in order to share my recipes with friends and family and it has really grown!
- Update, January 2011 -
Just had my third anniversary of changing my life. 45 lbs are HISTORY!
I appreciate any comments or suggestions. Many thanks!

Jessica – I love your site and look forward to trying out some of your recipes. I just recently started a blog with a similar idea and although it is in the very early stages, I hope you will check out my blog as well.
